BirdLife International, in conjunction with national partners SEO and SPEA, approached us with the idea of developing an iPhone application for ecotourism in the Iberian peninsula.

Having collaborated to finalise functionality and produce wireframes, we busied ourselves with the coding and the app is now ready and launched in the app store.

Users are able to;

• Locate the nearest Important Bird Area (IBA)
• View IBA information, including its boundary on an interactive map
• Create notes specific to each IBA
• Browse information on all species present in Iberia, including advanced search
• Create and export 'to see' lists for species
